RETURN POLICY – BUSINESS CUSTOMERS


United Vintage sells products exclusively to business customers (companies, merchants, sole proprietors, resellers, and brick-and-mortar or online stores). By confirming their order, the Customer acknowledges that they are acting in the course of their business and agree to these terms and conditions without reservation.


1. No right of withdrawal


The products sold by United Vintage are intended for professionals acting in the course of their resale business. As such, the right of withdrawal provided for in the Consumer Code for consumers does not apply to orders placed with United Vintage. All confirmed orders are final and binding. No refund, cancellation, or exchange may be requested after the order has been confirmed, unless United Vintage has given prior written consent or a mandatory legal provision provides otherwise.


2. Type of products sold


The products sold by United Vintage are vintage and secondhand clothing intended for resale.

Given their nature, the products may, in particular, exhibit:

  • signs of wear;
  • previous repairs;
  • differences in shade or color;
  • variations in size;
  • missing or cut-off labels;
  • minor cosmetic flaws;
  • brands related to storage, handling, or transportation.

The Customer acknowledges that they were fully informed of these characteristics prior to purchase. Photographs, videos, sample lots, and marketing visuals are provided for illustrative purposes only. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they do not constitute an accurate contractual representation of the contents of each lot.


3. Grades, categories, and lot composition


Product grades, categories, and descriptions are based on a commercial assessment conducted by United Vintage in accordance with standards commonly used in the vintage and secondhand clothing industry. Due to the unique nature of the items and the fact that they are sorted by hand, reasonable variations may exist within a single lot without constituting a non-conformity. When products are sold by weight, the exact number of items is provided for informational purposes only. Exact brands, colors, sizes, styles, years, models, or compositions are not guaranteed, unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page.



4. Resale value and profitability


Any indication of resale value, potential margin, market price, potential revenue, or profitability provided on the Site, in product descriptions, emails, advertisements, social media, or any other medium is provided for informational purposes only. This information does not constitute a guarantee of commercial results, resale, or profit under any circumstances. The Customer remains solely responsible for their business operations, pricing policy, and results.


5. Complaints


Any complaints regarding the merchandise received must be sent to:info@united-vintage.com or within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving the order.

The application must be accompanied by:

  • the order number;
  • clear and usable photographs;
  • a detailed description of the problem encountered.

After this period, the goods shall be deemed to be in compliance and accepted by the Customer, unless there is a latent defect that could not have been detected during a reasonable inspection upon receipt.


6. Exceptional cases of return


No returns or exchanges will be accepted except in cases of obvious errors attributable to United Vintage, including:

  • delivery of a product that is completely different from the one ordered;
  • significant quantity error;
  • reverse control.

After reviewing the application, United Vintage may, at its sole discretion:

  • offer a store credit;
  • make an exchange;
  • authorize an exceptional return;
  • grant a partial or full refund when warranted.

No returns will be accepted without prior written approval from our customer service department.


7. Unauthorized returns


Any return made without prior written authorization from United Vintage may be refused.

In this case, the merchandise may be reshipped to the Customer at the Customer’s expense or held for the Customer to pick up.

No refund, credit, or compensation may be claimed for a return made without prior approval.


8. Transportation and shipping-related damage


The bales, bags, and boxes being shipped can be quite large and heavy.

Minor deformations, dents, punctures, or external damage to the packaging resulting from shipping do not constitute grounds for a claim if the products remain in accordance with the order. Any complaints related to shipping must be made to the carrier at the time of delivery and reported to United Vintage within a maximum of forty-eight (48)hours . Unless the error is solely attributable to United Vintage, shipping costs are non-refundable.


9. Acceptance


By placing an order on the United Vintage website, you fully and unconditionally agree to this Return Policy and the applicable Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The Customer acknowledges that they have reviewed the specific characteristics of vintage and secondhand clothing, the applicable tolerances, and the rules governing commercial sales before finalizing their purchase.
